Barbecue: Smoking Ribs on the Barbecue Grill Part 1 - Kell Phelps of The National Barbecue News prepares a slab of ribs for the barbecue grill/smoker, but before they are ready for grilling, these ribs need some attention. In addition to cleaning and preparing the barbecue ribs for the grill, Phelps shows how to flavor the ribs with spices and honey. He also talks about the importance of using a rub to enhance the flavor of the ribs while they smoke on the barbecue grill.
Barbecue: Smoking Ribs on the Barbecue Grill Part 2 - Kell Phelps with The National Barbecue News shows you that smoking/grilling your barbecue ribs low and slow over charcoal on a barbecue grill produces great flavor and juicy ribs. After grilling the ribs for about two hours, we doctor the ribs by adding honey and more barbecue rub to the baby back ribs and then wrap them in aluminum foil. Phelps will show you how to tell if your barbecue ribs are done and that after smoking on a barbecue grill for several hours, your grilled ribs need to rest.
